Wedding Colors

I knew as soon as our wedding planning began that our wedding colors would be shades of pink mixed with ivory and gold. When picking our bridesmaid dresses, the shade of pink was a toss up between mauve and blush. However, when we decided on flowers and decor, we decided using both would be equally gorgeous!
The gold in our wedding was more subtle; i.e. cake table covering and votives, as well as shoes for the bridal party. We also had gold pearls mixed into our decor that our florist picked for us. The “spring wedding” theme came out in our May wedding with our greenery and wildflower bouquets. When everything came together just days before our big day, I was astounded and overjoyed at how my vision came to life! I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

If you remember back to this post, we chose our venue because it was gorgeous in itself (also, if you haven’t read that post, I promise you’ll laugh). The outdoor ceremony venue had a winding path through fountains and beautiful landscaping that lead to a gorgeous pergala where our ceremony was held.  Days before the wedding I was asked about our ceremony decorations and my plans for the setup.  I was relieved to be able to say I wouldn’t be needing any! There’s beauty in simplicity.

Here are a few tidbits from our wedding!
